Do you want to work as a contract manager in a company that delivers communication solutions that help keep people and society safe?

We are rapidly growing our global business and we are looking for a contract manager supporting our project managers and legal manager.

You will be a part of a very international organisation working with communication solutions based on the newest technology.

Your role

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for driving the contract management on projects. You will work closely with project managers as well as other stakeholders and our Legal Manager. You focus on managing and understanding the customer project contracts. You are able to evaluate commercial and legal consequences of changes related to contracts.

In this role, you will have a broad range of stakeholders and you will therefore have a challenging work environment with possibility for development.

Tasks

  • Review contracts and give feedback and guidance to relevant stakeholders during execution of contracts
  • Establish Contract Directive and follow directions for the contract defined in the Project Directive and Contract Directive
  • Monitor all contractual activities, ensure regulation and delivery and get acceptance from customer. Identify non-conformances and communicate adjustments to relevant stakeholders
  • Attend contract handover meetings from sales to projects, project decision points and execution meetings in line with our defined processes. Identify and understand present situation compared to the prerequisites at the time for offer/bid.
  • Participate in management of risk and opportunities during contract life cycle including continuous improvement
  • When required, handle changes within products offered, processes, obsolescence (end of life), tools etc. with effect on the contract
  • Evaluate legal and commercial consequences of potential changes to contracts together with our Legal Manager. Attend bi-weekly meetings with our Legal Manager for alignment and control purposes. If required participate in meetings and negotiations with customers.

Your profile

This opportunity requires a team player with contract management competences, personal initiative and good communication and negotiation skills.

You have appropriate commercial qualifications or equivalent with some years of experience in contract management or project management.

You have good knowledge and experience of customer interaction and business acumen.

You have commercial understanding including understanding of risk management, legal and financial aspects.

We are in a global environment and therefore look for candi­dates who are good communicators, who like to interact with stakeholders and who speak/write English fluently.
