Do you want to be part of an international team focusing on creating better and greener supply chains for DSV’s largest customers?
As our Student Analyst, you can look forward to a myriad of challenges in modelling, data analysis and supply chain management. You will be exposed to a range of clients as well as a large part of the internal DSV organization. Through this job you will have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional competencies, and kick start your career within supply chain management.
As part of the Supply Chain Optimisation team located at our headquarters in Hedehusene, you will be working together with ten likeminded colleagues locally, but you will be part of a larger global team. We are a diverse set of supply chain specialist with different backgrounds, but we all share a joint passion for supply chain management, so you will be sure to be challenged and develop professionally.
In your role as Student Analyst, you will be working closely with the other analysts in the team. You will assist with analytical work on larger optimization projects for customers, but also run smaller projects independently as your competencies develop. The type of project varies and can include elements of e.g. network design and transport optimization. You will also run the monthly reporting for the department as well as support on ad hoc tasks. Your tasks include:
We expect you to work 15 hours a week, preferably as two full days in the office. We are flexible during the exam period, but also expect you to give an extra hand during busy periods.
We imagine that you are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or the beginning of your master’s degree and hold a great academic record. You study within the fields of supply chain management, transport and logistics, operations research, mathematical modelling or another relevant field where mathematical and analytical skills are a big component.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:
