Would you like to set a clear direction in projects centered around environmentally friendly solutions?
Then grab this opportunity to join a growing international company that operates within the realm of recycling and circular economy. In our midst awaits development possibilities, independent responsibility, and great colleagues.
You’ll help develop and promote Waste-to-X®-process-solutions, which will benefit the environment as well as our clients’ businesses. What’s more, you get to work with and learn from some of the most experienced colleagues within the industry
Welcome to Combineering – we work in the service of the environment
At Combineering, we specialise in resource recovery, recycling and environmental legislation. Among other things, we convert waste and residues from both public and private companies into new raw materials – and when joining our project organisation at our office in Birkerød, you will quickly find that this is what we are all passionate about. Just as we are proud of having won EY´s Entrepreneur of The Year Award for Sustainability in 2022.
Moreover, you will be welcomed into a tight-knit team. We work independently but still share knowledge and debate ideas, and there is always someone ready to lend a helping hand should you need it – just as we support each other’s individual development.
I truly feel that it’s a great team. There’s a wide span in both nationalities, backgrounds, and levels of experience, so we supplement each other well
Manage sustainable projects from A-Z
As the latest addition to our team, you will be responsible for structuring projects, handling all aspects of the process from initial ideas to turnkey projects. You have a high degree of freedom to plan your day – the projects will be within the area of recycling where you will be helping large international clients – and the first ones are already waiting for you.
The office in Birkerød will be your base of operation, but with customers across Denmark as well as in the rest of Europe, you should expect some travel activity.
More specifically, you can look forward to:
- Handling the development of major commercial technical projects
- Building solid relationships with your customers, both the suppliers and the receivers of the resources that will be given a second life
- Handling scope, budget, timeline, and risk management
- Coordinating with your logistics and sales colleagues in optimizing the value created by each project both for the clients and Combineering
- Reporting and following up on projects and ensuring high quality in an international setting
- Handling the project triangle in different phases, addressing quality, time management and resources
- Coordinating with various stakeholders
Experienced project manager with a solid technical understanding

You know how to set realistic goals and share our understanding that all good project management starts with solid working relationships and partnerships. Also, you are a team player who can collaborate cross-functionally as well as make decisions independently.
It is also important that you know how to navigate a growth environment where things often move quickly.
We further imagine that you:
- Have hands-on project management experience
- Know how to manage stakeholders in an international setting
- Master Danish and English at the negotiation level
It would be an added benefit, but not a requirement, if you have one or more of the following skills or a keen interests in:
