Terminal and Warehouse Supervisor

Link Logistics is looking for an experienced Terminal and Warehouse Supervisor to work in our terminal and warehouse in the Copenhagen area. You will become part of a supervisor team currently with two other skilled supervisors, and you will be responsible for our terminal and some of our warehouse customers.

At Link Logistics we have set out to be a natural link to cross-border logistics solutions through flexible services and integrations. Our terminal and warehouse are located in the Copenhagen area, where approximately 60 of our employees handle a wide variety of our customers, primarily BTC, but also BTB customers.

What will you be doing in the role as our new Terminal and Warehouse Supervisor…

  • Be the daily leader of a team of permanent and parttime employees in our terminal and warehouse.
  • Participate in our daily pick and pack operations.
  • Manage your team.
  • Handle customer contact.
  • Handle booking and return processes.
  • Improve and optimize current terminal and warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate projects and tasks in the terminal.
  • Handle daily ad hoc tasks and general administrative tasks.

Your key skills to succeed in the role…

  • Experience from working in a warehouse, and perhaps an education or formal training within logistics or warehouse operations. Experience from a terminal is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Experience with leading people is an advantage, but you can also be ready for your next career step as a new leader. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in people and want to motivate and support your team.
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge about shipment of dangerous goods and container shipping, but it is not a requirement.
  • Good at collaborating with people across functions both internally and externally.
  • Good communication skills both in Danish and English in speech and writing.
  • Able to work in a structured, detailed and solution-oriented manner.
  • Good at keeping an overview and keeping calm, also when deadlines are tight.
  • Be reliable, proactive, and professional.

You will be working 37 hours per week Monday-Friday. You can organize your own time, but you are responsible in the period from 8:00-20:00 daily. Weekend shifts can occur.
