We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Research Assistant with a strong background in microbiology for our Strain Intake Department within Bacthera in Hørsholm, Denmark.

As a Research Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the development of live biotherapeutic products to improve health by building a strong portfolio of scientific data to support our contract development and manufacturing business.

Your tasks

Phenotypic and genotypic characterisation of live biotherapeutic strains for features relevant to potency (mechanism of action, viability), safety (virulence, resistance, inactivation), and production
Receive and handle live biotherapeutic and reference strains, samples, and associated documentation
Strain purification and growth
