The Hempel Foundation Coatings Science and Technology Centre (CoaST), DTU Chemical Engineering is presently seeking a skilled and experienced electron microscopy specialist who will help the CoaST scientists and engineers with their research efforts and activities in CoaST.
The candidate is expected to support the research efforts in CoaST and will work closely together with a diverse group of students, scientists, researchers, experts, technicians, and other personnel inside and outside DTU Chemical Engineering. Amongst others the main tasks will be:
- Designing novel microscopy based research methodologies in the field of coatings technology
- Teaching and training students and researchers to prepare specimens
- Training the students and researchers to operate electron microscopy equipment safely and effectively
