Category Manager Global Procurement

Ferring is about to introduce a new pharmaceutical product to the market. The product, a novel gene therapy, is currently transitioning from development to commercial supply.

You will be part of a team that will support the launch readiness consisting out of 3 streams:

Contracting & Negotiations

• Establish and negotiate supply/service agreements with the direct material supplier base
• Source and cost optimize

Risk management & supplier evaluation

• Supplier evaluation and segmentation
• Risk assessment of components/service provided

Supplier Management

• Proactively work with suppliers to strengthen business relations (reduce lead times, improve overall supply chain performance, and reduce costs)
• Select with relevant stakeholders the key suppliers we should have an SRM (or similar) program in place.
