Research Engineer/Manager

We are looking for a new scientist and manager for the Downstream team who enjoys working in the interface between R&D and production. Strong academic background, good communication skills and an ability to contribute and work efficiently in periods of high workload are prerequisites.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to affect the future of new aluminum products, expand your knowledge of aluminum industrial manufacturing processes, and work with colleagues in a variety of disciplines through close cooperation within PT and other Hydro business areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects, determine objectives, budget and deliverables.
• Line responsibility for six people in Downstream team.
• Strong commitment to Safety.
• Responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness within the laboratory.
