- Develop your dairy application skills within the Fresh Dairy, Cheese and BioProtection segments enabling you to provide top-class technical advice and trouble-shooting to our customers
- Plan, perform and report on trials. Hands-on work in the pilot dairy and laboratories will be part of your assignments
- Drive Application projects within the Dairy segments, securing timely and successful deliverables

Working to identify and implement new technology, you’ll be involved in optimizing and automating enzyme analytical workflows to maximize efficiency in the Global Quality Control laboratories. Alongside a natural interest for technology and possibly IT, you also have experience with enzyme activity analyses. In addition to this, you possess a strong analytical approach to your work and is comfortable with managing your own time and meeting deadlines.
A PhD fellowship in experimental research on larval culture of European eel is available at the National Institute for Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua) at the Technical University of Denmark. The position will be placed in the Fish Biology Research Group in the Section for Marine Living Resources with about 35 staff members.
The position will be part of the research and innovation project: Improve technology and scale-up production of offspring for European eel aquaculture (ITS-EEL).
The project is performed in collaboration with the Danish industry and international collaborators. Here, the main goal is to breed eels and establish a captive production of glass eels for a sustainable aquaculture of this critically endangered species.
Project AROMAGENESIS will bring together the expertise of researchers in both academia and industry with the strategic aim of generating new yeast strains with novel and unique sensory flavor characteristics. The project will provide training and education of the next generation of scientists in the areas of yeast fermentation processes, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, genomics and synthetic biology, through a unique interdisciplinary and intersectoral project using cutting edge technology at the leading edge of food and beverage science.
The PhD project will have a strong interdisciplinary nature, with the research being performed in Novozymes’ Brewing Research Group in interaction with our consortium partners in the European Union funded Marie Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN).
A 3-year PhD position is open in NanoChemistry group at Department of Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark. The project is aimed at Development of Graphene-Biocatalysts for Enzymatic Biofuel Cells.
This project aims at development of biocatalysts for enzymatic biofuel cells (EBFCs) with high activity and long lifetime. We plan to design and synthesize redox enzymes with graphene to construct biocatalysts. Enzymes which can catalyze oxidation of fuel molecules such as glucose and alcohol, reduction of dioxygen will be chosen as targeted enzymes for bioanodes and cathodes, respectively.
The project will construct biocatalysts with a large surface area in 3 dimensions (3D) to confine enzymes and increase their stability and electron transfer efficiency.

You will unfold your skills across two main tasks. One focus area is to plan and carry out experiments in our applied PH laboratory. You will work with key crops like rice, wheat, soybeans and corn in order to understand and prove mode of action of our products. The second focus area will be to design field trial experiments and analyze the results of products under development.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Design and carry out experiments with bacterial strains in greenhouses
- Design and carry out field trials done globally on key crops – in close collaboration with locally based colleagues in the commercial teams
- Handle analyzes, statistics and interpretation of data from field trials
