Do you enjoy working with data, platforms and implementation of digital services?
As our senior data scientist, your primary task will be to provide action consulting as you participate in priority business or strategy projects across Grundfos globally. Tackling problems such as minimising energy consumption in pump systems, optimising digital configuration tools or designing a graph database, you ensure that the project team solves the task in the best possible way. Based on your strengths, you also take on the role as specialist, emerging in one of the data science areas such as AI, machine learning etc. Specifically, your tasks involve:
- Selecting and initiating test of new data science tools
- Developing best practices, coming up with new methods and processes
- Helping and coaching new data scientists

As a software engineer you will work with systems of vital importance that constantly need to be extended and adapted in relation to strategic projects and daily operations.
You will perform all activities of a software engineer including analyses and design, coding and testing. We aim towards best practices in our system development and depending on context we adopt agile development or more traditional waterfall methods.

You will become part of the core IT team in Future Financing, where your role will be to design, build, and deploy for high performance, reliability and scalability. You will understand how the end-to-end stack works – from Danske Bank’s mainframe platform over middle-tier business logic and API layer to the UI.
You will work closely together with the IT team’s lead architects, front-end and back-end software engineers and business analysts as well as user experience specialists and people understanding the customer and business needs – all co-located.

Your major delivery in the customer journey will be automated decisions leading to instant gratification, higher customer satisfaction, while contributing to a standardised process and fewer resources spend.
You will bring together the best of expert knowledge and statistical analysis to secure a solid decision on retail customers. You work in close collaboration with key stakeholders across customers, risk, credit, IT and business in order to capture the necessary business understanding and secure the practical applicability of the final models. A key success factor is the ability to communicate technical results in a non-technical and concise manner.
