We seek a dynamic and outgoing leader and professor to head our Centre for Acoustic-Mechanical Micro Systems (CAMM). CAMM is a joint centre between DTU Electrical Engineering and DTU Mechanical Engineering.
As professor you are expected to be instrumental in further developing the centre as an internationally leading centre within the field.
You will work together with the managements of DTU Electrical Engineering and DTU Mechanical Engineering and with industrial partners to create a centre that serves as a unique platform for the development of the field of acoustic mechanical micro systems – a field focusing on the acoustic and mechanical parameters involved in the process of analysing and designing small audio systems and other miniaturized systems involving acoustics.
Applications are invited for a position as professor in the research field of chemical oceanography. The professorship is affiliated with the National Institute of Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua), Section for Oceans and Arctic located in Lyngby.
The research spectrum of the Section for Oceans and Arctic covers oceanography, marine ecology, observation technology, and the Arctic. The research into oceanography integrates biological, physical, and chemical parameters’ interactions in the ocean, ranging from individual plankton to regional seas.
The professor’s research field will be i) biogeochemistry of nutrients and organic matter, ii) ocean optics and photo-chemistry, iii) tracing water masses using chemical characteristics, and iv) spectroscopy in analytical environmental chemistry applications.
Applications are invited for a position as professor with special responsibilities in the research field of statistical modelling of complex aquatic living systems. The professorship is affiliated with the National Institute of Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua), Section for Marine Living Resources located in Lyngby.
The research of the section addresses biology and ecology of fishes, population genetics, stock structure and dynamics, development of statistical modelling tools and applications for these areas, as well as bio-physical modelling from an individual organism to complex population dynamics.
The professor is expected to develop the research group and consolidate its international leading position by developing modelling tools and algorithms expanding the palette of software and applications.
Applications are invited for a position as professor in the research field of population ecology of marine fishes. The professorship is affiliated with the National Institute of Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua), Section for Marine Living Resources located in Lyngby.
The professor is expected to lead a scientific section, implying academic, strategic, human, and other resource management as well as active engagement in the department’s leadership in helping to develop both other research sections and support functions.
