We are seeking a dedicated Department Manager to lead our Histology department. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities and a passion for managing and developing teams, preferably with a background in Histology. 

The Histology department is committed to delivering high-quality histological data within all Gubra’s research areas, including MASH, obesity, metabolic and fibrotic disorders. Our growing team consists of 7 scientists and 5 laboratory technicians who work collaboratively across Gubra and provides valuable, decision-making data for customer studies as well as internal projects.

Gubra is seeking a dedicated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Molecular Pharmacology department. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities and a passion for managing and developing teams, along with a background in molecular pharmacology and drug discovery.

Your tasks include

• Daily management of a team of scientists and lab technicians to ensure high performance, personal development, well-being and engagement.
• Guide the team to accomplish department goals and objectives.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of experiments to support Gubra’s internal and partnered drug discovery projects.

PhD scholarship in Efficient Numerical Modelling of Smart Hearables while Fitted to Users – DTU Electro

Are you interested in learning and extending on state-of-the-art numerical modelling techniques and, at the same time, contribute to improving the listening experience of smart hearable users and hearing impaired?

As a PhD candidate with us you will create models of audio devices that are worn in or over the ear and including the wearer’s acoustical and mechanical influence. You will deal with a large modelling task with uncertain input data, and to do this you will acquire knowledge on fields like advanced numerical modelling techniques, improvement of model efficiency and numerical optimization, among others.

PhD positions in Compositional Simulation of Reactive Transport in CO2 Storage - DTU Chemistry

Centre for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE) at DTU Chemistry is seeking talented PhD students to contribute to our exciting CO₂ storage research in the project Compositional Simulation of Reactive Transport in CO₂ Storage (CompReact).

The CompReact project has two PhD positions. The students will work on the improvement of the calculation algorithms for multiphase reactions, the integration of the multiphase reaction module into a CO₂ storage simulator, and simulation analysis using the developed simulator.

PhD scholarship in integrated blue optical phased array on thin-film lithium niobate platform for underwater optical communication - DTU Electro

We are seeking a candidate for a PhD position to research integrated blue optical phased array (OPA) on thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) platform, which can enable solid-state optical beam steering and will be used for the next-generation photonic chip-based UOWC system.

This PhD project aims at developing an integrated OPA on TFLN platform at blue light (~450 nm) wavelength band for UOWC systems. You will first design an OPA on TFLN platform at blue-light wavelength. The designed blue OPA will then be fabricated using our advanced cleanroom facilities at DTU Nanolabs and characterized using our state-of-the-art lab facilities.
