In recent years, auction schemes for the allocation of support for renewable energy sources have been advancing rapidly across Europe. A variety of auction designs are still being tested and introduced.
One important aspect of auctions is their effect on financing and cost of capital in renewable energy investments. The Energy Economics and Regulation group at DTU Management offers a position as PhD student in the area of energy economics.
The Energy Economics and Regulation group is part of the Systems Analysis Division, which is placed within the Department of Management Engineering at DTU. The division conducts basic and applied research within the area of energy system analysis, policy instruments, regulatory issues, energy demand, geography, economics, and climate science.
A 3-year PhD scholarship in supramolecular and bioorganic chemistry is available starting from October 1 2018.
The successful candidate will join a young and ambitious, international research team, which is a part of the Organic and Inorganic Chemistry section at DTU Chemistry.
Research in the group is focused on supramolecular chemistry and its application to problems in chemical biology. We aim to understand how non-covalent interactions allow molecules to interact, to recognise each other, to fold and assemble into larger, multi-component systems.
Bang & Olufsen A/S, Struer
Would you like to shape the complete listening experience of our Bang & Olufsen speakers and headphones?
As our new senior engineer, you will join our international acoustics and research team, responsible for the sound quality performance for all Bang & Olufsen branded products. Here, you will team up with acoustic engineers who work across the entire value chain to bring exciting acoustic features to new products. Moreover, as an internationally recognised acoustics research department, we have close ties to universities in Denmark and abroad.
Stepping into a senior role, you will have the final say on the sound quality in our new products and whether they are ready to hit shop shelves.
The project will primarily be carried out at the Section for Aquaculture, which is located in Hirtshals in the Northern part of Jutland. The candidate will also be affiliated with the Department of Biology under the Faculty of Natural Sciences at NTNU; Trondheim, Norway. The candidate is therefore required to spend part of his/her time in Norway.
The overall aim of the project is to identify effects of replacing marine lipids with terrestrial lipids. The candidate is expected to investigate in particular whether lipid source and composition is a determinant of digestibility, and to what extent this is reflected in markers of lipid digestion, how it influences lipid uptake and incorporation, and what the ultimate effects are on growth, metabolism and fuel use.
