The Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre (Centre for Oil and Gas – DTU), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), invites applicants for a PhD position on numerical modelling of thermo-hydro-chemical processes in chalk reservoirs. Centre for Oil and Gas – DTU is established by the Danish Underground Consortium and DTU. As part of a national strategy on oil and gas, the research centre is an ambitious, targeted effort to improve recovery of oil and gas from the Danish North Sea.
The positions will be an integrated part of the advanced water flooding programme with the focus on improving oil recovery in chalk reservoirs in the Danish part of the North Sea.
The section for Image Analysis and Computer Graphics at DTU’s Department for Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (“DTU Compute”) would like to invite applications for a 3-year PhD position starting in the fall of 2018.
The position is part of an ambitious project with two other PhD positions in collaboration with the Danish Hydro-carbon Research and Technology Center (DHRTC), aimed at developing new CT-based methods for investigating flow in porous materials.

This position works under limited direction and is primarily responsible for the understanding and application of food cultures and enzymes, primarily into the cheese and fermented milks industry.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Conducts field evaluations and demonstrations of new ingredient systems in conjunction with Global Innovation including Application Centers. Completes written reports, including conclusions and develops follow-up plans as required in a timely manner. Maintains accurate visit reports, records and files in the required databases.
- Provides customer support for product application by plant visits, audits and trouble-shooting issues.
- Conducts technical presentations to customers, explaining the use of CH ingredient systems in food applications. Organizes and provides training programs for customers and/or industry trade groups and participates in industry and company technical meetings.
