The Transport Modelling Group (TMG) of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Department of Management Engineering, is looking for excellent applicants to pursue PhD studies, starting in January 2019.
Our group do methodological research in Quantitative Transport Models for the benefit of the society. The group cover a broad spectrum of modelling competences from mathematical modelling, optimisation, machine learning and demand modelling.
The project is part of a large research project, TUPPAC, with participation of a range of national and international partners (e.g. Nobina, IBM, RUC, etc.). In the project, four autonomous busses will be acquired and operated as part of a test-bed on two locations
PhD studentship at ”The VILLUM Center for the Science of Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals (V-SUSTAIN)” within the Computational Atomic-scale Materials Design (CAMD) section at the Department of Physics, DTU.
VILLUM FONDEN has provided a substantial grant to “The Villum Center for the Science of Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals” (V-SUSTAIN). The clear aim of the center is to provide the science necessary to phase out fossil fuels and thereby alleviate the negative impact the continuous use of these have on the earth’s climate and environment. The center is a collaboration between DTU, Stanford University, University of Copenhagen, and University of Southern Denmark.
The PhD studentship is within the field of electronic structure theory and computation.
