PhD scholarship in Supramolecular and Bioorganic Chemistry - DTU Chemistry

A 3-year PhD scholarship in supramolecular and bioorganic chemistry is available at the Technical University of Denmark.

The project will explore the use of enzyme-catalysed reactions in templated dynamic covalent synthesis – combining supramolecular chemistry and enzymology in a biotechnological approach to oligosaccharide synthesis.

Your work could include:

• the design, organic synthesis and characterisation of molecular building blocks, templates and mechanically-interlocked structures;
• enzymatic synthesis and analysis of dynamic systems of oligosaccharides;

Være med til at udvikle fremtidens enzym produkter til vaskemidler ved at undersøge enzym performance ved at udføre nedskalerede og fuldskala vaskeforsøg. Ligeledes indbefatter dette undersøgelse af substratfjernelse med Soxtherm ekstraktion og lugtmåling med GC-MS.

I denne rolle, kommer du til at gøre en forskel ved at undersøge effektiviteten og stabiliteten af enzyme produkter i vaskemidler bl.a. ved udførelse af nedskalerede og fuldskala forsøg. Dette omfatter arbejde med standardiserede testmetoder samt analytiske teknikker (f.eks. spektrofotometriske målinger).

The Manager, Chemical Substance Registration is accountable for implementing and executing the chemical control compliance programs of IFF in the EAME region (UK, EU REACH, Turkey REACH, EAEU etc.) for the technical enzymes’ portfolio of products (Biofuels, Fabric & Household Care, Textile Processing and Designed Enzymatic Polysaccharides).

The Manager, Chemical Substance Registration is furthermore a key contact for the Enzyme Business in determining strategic business decisions and should be representing IFF in industry work groups to assure IFF’s regulatory interests.
