Roving Emergency Advisor – Generalist (EMPACT)

Are you an experienced emergency practitioner looking for a challenging new role? Looking to work with and for affected people in ensuring their rights are respected and protected in crisis situations?

We are looking for a highly engaged, flexible and driven emergency advisor to deploy globally with know-how in emergency coordination and DRC emergency response sectors.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a proven record of emergency response and experiences in one or more priority emergency response sectors and a willingness and desire to work in both high-pressure and unstable environments.

Senior Operations Advisor

Do you want to be part of a global team of humanitarian professionals who help DRC Senior Management Teams to excel operationally? We are looking for a Senior Operations Advisor to support COs and ROs globally.

As a crucial prerequisite, the SOA is expected to maintain a comprehensive operational understanding of designated countries. This responsibility is at the core of HQ-OPS’ and OSO's mission, enabling DRC to conduct evidence-based analysis of potential operational gaps, irregularities, inconsistencies, and draw from the extensive reservoir of lessons learned gathered through our expansive network of over 40 COs and ROs worldwide.

Localisation Support Coordinator – learning, communication and documentation

Are you passionate about communication and learning, especially in support of organisational change across different stakeholders? Do you have a good understanding of localisation and humanitarian and development programming?

Responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain relevant strategic and operational communication processes and plans on localization (different modalities and platforms)
• Extract relevant data and translate strategic plans and documents into learning and communications materials on localisation, such as learning briefs, fact sheets, best practice catalogues, case-studies, human-interest stories, short videos etc. for internal and external purposes
