Public Diplomacy Officer (DEN24148)

The British Embassy in Copenhagen is recruiting a self-driven, creative and delivery-focused individual with public diplomacy and/or communications experience to deliver the Embassy’s public diplomacy work, a key priority for the UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark.

You will work directly to the Ambassador and Head of the Communications, Public Diplomacy and Climate Team to organise and deliver a variety set-piece events and coordinate content for digital platforms and campaigns. You will play a central role in strengthening the Embassy’s influence to the Danish government, public and wider civil society to promote the close and long-standing relationship between the UK and Denmark.

Localisation Support Coordinator – learning, communication and documentation

Are you passionate about communication and learning, especially in support of organisational change across different stakeholders? Do you have a good understanding of localisation and humanitarian and development programming?

Responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain relevant strategic and operational communication processes and plans on localization (different modalities and platforms)
• Extract relevant data and translate strategic plans and documents into learning and communications materials on localisation, such as learning briefs, fact sheets, best practice catalogues, case-studies, human-interest stories, short videos etc. for internal and external purposes
