DFM is seeking a technician for high quality calibration of mechanical measurement standards.
Guided by documented measurement procedures and the scientific staff of DFM you will carry out calibrations of mass standards (weights), length standards (gauge block), roughness standards and similar mechanical measurement standards at the highest level of precision and accuracy. Depending on your qualifications, you could also be involved in building measuring instruments and experimental setups or in automating our measurement processes.
In order to ensure proper handling of a variety of delicate instruments and measurement standards, the following qualifications are indispensable:
- Good hand motoric skills and a good vision
- Ability to read, understand and follow measurement procedures written in English
