Biocompatibility Specialist

We are looking for a Biocompatibility Specialist to join the Reprocessing and Biocompatibility team for a 12-month project position.

This is a great opportunity if you would like to gain experience with biocompatibility for advanced reusable medical devices, as you will be part of a cross-functional effort on documenting the safety and performance through the lifetime of our ultrasound scanners, transducers, and accessories.

Your role involves overseeing all organic coating processes, ensuring compliance and quality of materials such as epoxy- and polyurethane-based paints. You will also manage the requirements for consumable chemicals, like solvents for surface cleaning.

PhD scholarship in Supramolecular and Bioorganic Chemistry - DTU Chemistry

A 3-year PhD scholarship in supramolecular and bioorganic chemistry is available at the Technical University of Denmark.

The project will explore the use of enzyme-catalysed reactions in templated dynamic covalent synthesis – combining supramolecular chemistry and enzymology in a biotechnological approach to oligosaccharide synthesis.

Your work could include:

• the design, organic synthesis and characterisation of molecular building blocks, templates and mechanically-interlocked structures;
• enzymatic synthesis and analysis of dynamic systems of oligosaccharides;

A 3-year PhD scholarship concerned with the use of computer simulation for predicting fission products (FP) behavior – such as solubility – in a Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) is available.

In the SolveMSR project – funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark – we will work towards creating a computational framework for predicting FP behavior in the fuel salt matrix of MSRs. We will benchmark the framework against experimental data.
