Sustainability Project Assistant

WELCON A/S is looking for a Project Assistant within sustainability to join us in the spring of 2024 on an interim basis until end of 2025, with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards.

You will be involved in processes ranging from ESG-reporting and data collection to the execution of our sustainability strategy.

As a surveyor you will be involved in the blade production from beginning to end. Your will be in charge of inspection and optimalisation of the production equipment at the Aalborg plant.

Your responsibilities will include:

You will be working in an international team, so good communication skills are a must. Good skills in written and spoken English are needed as well as working knowledge of MS Office.

You will guiding and driving projects through development phases in close collaboration and in reference to the Chief Design Officer.

Your role will entail seamless coordination with the Chief Design Officer, Concept R&D, and cross-functional departments such as Product Management and Technical R&D, ensuring delivery of top standard outputs within stipulated timelines.

The Site Supervisor responsibilities include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, completing quality, requirements, prepare daily reports, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.

Fire Safety Engineer

As our new Fire Safety Engineer, you will take part in many projects needing fire simulations to quantify the effects of fires on evacuation times, structures, or the space around. You will be part of project teams working either for a client or within a consortium in an R&D project.

You will meet many different application fields and can one day work with fire scenarios on board a ship, the next day with fire scenarios in a power plant. The projects you will work on can relate to risk analysis, technology demonstration, product development, or the development and validation of CFD fire models for specific applications.
