The position:
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing applications that convert data into actionable insights, enabling our production teams to achieve operational excellence. Your contributions will help increase efficiency, minimize process deviations, and enhance higher output quality.
As Front End Developer in Manufacturing Intelligence, you will:
- Transform static design (from Figma) into a dynamic application
- Develop and test application interfaces
- Ensure data flow satisfies the requirements set by the design
- Work agile and iteratively to comply with user needs

About the department
In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
Within CMC & Product Supply sits Emerging Technologies (ET) Manufacturing Tech & Innovation (MT&I), where this position is anchored. It currently consists of ~45 highly skilled colleagues working within Manufacturing Intelligence, Process Digitalisation, Robotics, Extended Reality and New Tech. Our ambition is to be the frontier, using the latest technologies and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
The Manufacturing Intelligence area consist of ~20 highly skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging from Product owners, UI/UX designers, Data Engineers, Back End Developers, Front End Developers, and Data Analysts.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a master’s degree, combined with solid relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of React, NextJS, TypeScript or similar
- Solid knowledge of how to structure Frontend applications, with responsive design in mind
- Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Shadcn, Mantine, Ant Design or similar
- Worked with a version control, such as Git
- Having experience with E2E testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress would be beneficial
- Knowledge within Backend programming languages, especially Python will be an advantage
