Affiliate Manager
About Awaze
We’re home to some of the world’s most trusted travel brands, including cottages.com, Hoseasons and Novasol (to name just a few!). Together, these brands make us the largest managed vacation rental business in the world.
We’re proud to have over 100,000 properties in our portfolio, in 25 countries across Europe, giving our guests the choice of a fantastic range of properties and making over 1.5 million bookings each year.
We’re in a genuinely exciting period of growth, with one simple vision – to delight our owners and guests.
The role
We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Affiliate Manager to take ownership of our newly established global affiliate marketing program. This is a unique opportunity to build, shape, and grow the program from the ground up - leaving your own mark on its success.
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and optimizing relationships with affiliate partners to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue growth across all Awaze brands. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong performance marketing expertise, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of scaling affiliate programs.
What you’ll be doing
- Launch and roll out the affiliate program across all Awaze brands, establishing it as a key and incremental marketing channel.
- Manage end-to-end affiliate operations, including partner acquisition, onboarding, performance tracking, and relationship development.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on partner performance, lead quality, and revenue contribution to internal stakeholders and management.
- Take full ownership of the program’s evolution - identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on broader partnership initiatives beyond the affiliate channel.
- Occasional travel within Europe may be required.
Key skills to succeed
- Experience: Experience leading affiliate marketing programs on a global scale, ideally within the hospitality sector, with a strong record of delivering growth.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate performance insights into actionable strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with affiliate networks, tracking platforms, Google Analytics, and CRM tools; experience with Awin is a strong plus.
- Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and broader digital marketing concepts is an advantage.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required, while German or Danish is a plus.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation, with proficiency in PowerPoint and other visual communication tools.
- Adaptable: Flexible and able to adjust quickly in dynamic environments with an understanding of digital campaign timelines and merchandising.
Equally as important as all the technical “stuff”, we’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, irrespective of their seniority.
We don’t believe in standing still (we work in travel, after all), but instead think that everyone should be learning, all the time. Whether it’s a new piece of software, an industry event or a mentoring opportunity, we will support you to grow your skillset.
What we’ll give you
- This is an opportunity for you to join us at a pivotal point in time as we invest in our future.
- You’ll be joining a team of genuine, passionate people.
- You’ll have the freedom to choose the best way of working to get the job done.
- We work cross-functionally, so you’ll be given opportunities to develop skills outside of your core skillset.
- You’ll be an integral part of a team which will deliver growth, and who doesn’t want that?
We offer a competitive salary and benefits; we’re all about holidays, so we practise what we preach and offer some great travel discounts.
We offer flexible working hours and hybrid working, too.
We’d also offer you private medical and life assurance – of course we hope you won’t need these, but we want to offer you security.
What else do you need to know?
You will join a well-established Partnerships team located in Denmark & UK, you will be based in Copenhagen (Virum) and will report directly to the Head of Partnerships. We are seeking a candidate with a strong people mindset, as this role offers the opportunity to build and lead an affiliate team over time, contributing to the long-term growth and success of the program.
We want to make the application process as stress-free as possible, so typically we’ll have an informal chat with you on the phone, followed by a comprehensive interview either Face to Face or over Teams, where you’ll have a chance to find out a bit more about the exciting things we’re doing (and maybe tell us what we’re doing wrong). We want to hear about your favourite (and least favourite) projects, what makes you tick and why.
We believe in equal opportunities and aim to create a team that is representative of our society, knowing that embracing differences enhances the capabilities of our business and makes for a happy place to work. We are proud to recognise and celebrate that we have a diverse culture where employees are accepted for who they are, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or ability.
