As Senior Legal Counsel (M&A and Capital Markets) and member of A.P. Moller Holding’s Legal department you will be providing expert legal advice on all matters related to our investment activities. You will join a dynamic and growing company, where you will help shape and develop our Legal department and our business as a whole.
Reporting to our General Counsel you will play a vital role in providing in-house legal services related to A.P. Moller Holding’s investment activities, primarily acquisitions within our investment strategy. You will act as trusted business partner to colleagues within our investment teams, as well as to the broader A.P. Moller Holding organisation, including our executive management. Who we are looking for
You have a Danish master’s degree in law, including Danish Bar exam, and have at least five-six years’ relevant experience as a qualified lawyer (either as external counsel or in combination with in-house experience). You have a broad legal background but are primarily focused on M&A and corporate law, ideally combined with some exposure to capital markets regulation. You have strong analytical, contract drafting and negotiation skills, and you are able to manage M&A processes from start to finish with great project management skills.
You have a solid business understanding, which allows you to design legal solutions that generate tangible business results, and you are not afraid to challenge your colleagues when required. You are able to work independently, and also know when to seek advice from others.
As a person, you are professional and dedicated by nature. You are hands-on and find no assignment too big or too small for you to take on. You are detail-oriented yet capable of communicating in a short and concise manner as well as keeping deadlines. You are thorough yet also able to execute under time pressure. You are constructive and full of initiative and thrive in a challenging environment of ambitious people. You are a team player and highly focused on enabling your colleagues to perform their best.
