Job Description

As Project Manager in SCQM you will take active part in and drive scope and requirement definition of cross functional business and process improvement projects in close corporation with Senior Director, Quality Assurance. Furthermore, you will lead maintenance, improvement, and implementation of Terma’s global quality processes.

By being visible and following up on performance, you create understanding and commitment to Terma’s quality processes. This is further supported by your ability to foresee risks and address uncertainties, and by handling the associated mitigating and corrective actions in time.

To a large extent, your success depends on your ability to manage stakeholders by means of communication and negotiation, and how you handle change requests throughout the project planning and execution phases.

Secondly, you will be responsible for Quality Management activities in your own project portfolio within an assigned business area.

The Quality Management activities include active participation in and ensuring quality requirement compliance from proposal and contract reviews through project development to delivery to the customer.

Your professional qualifications


  • Proven track record as Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience with Product Development (understanding the interaction between mechanical, hardware and software components)
  • MSc or BSc in Engineering or similar relevant education
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • You have an inspirational project leadership style, powerful business acumen, and deep quality awareness
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office package


  • Experienced in performing well documented audits (project and process audits)
  • Experience with process optimization e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Business Process Management, Lean Management, Six Sigma etc.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance process definition, implementation, monitoring and control
