The IRCT is currently seeking a student assistant to provide support to the organisation’s Secretary-General. Working at the IRCT will provide you with a good understanding of the functioning of an international organisation, the human rights sector and global anti-torture initiatives. As a student assistant, you will have a number of varied tasks. You will work directly with the Secretary General, which will provide a good insight into management, coordination and administration.
The position will be 15 hours per week. Initially, you will be required to work three fixed days every week. There will be flexibility according to the student’s academic calendar, for example during exam periods, etc. We also expect you to manage your schedule to attend as many relevant meetings and events as possible. It is desired that you can start working as soon as possible.
