Dania Ship Management is moving forward... as a part of the journey we need dedicated Technical Superintendent(s) who work with a safety outlook.
We are a two-year-old established joint venture with V.Group as a major partner. We have an ambitious and realistic growth strategy as Copenhagen’s Ship Manager. To support our growth strategy, we aim to ensure competent colleagues in an efficient and dynamic company, where we appreciate a positive attitude and commitment. Our ambition is to drive the transformation of our industry and to be the leading global provider of marine support services. Our values (The 5 C’s – We Care, We Collaborate, We Challenge, We are Consistent, We Commit and Deliver) are at the heart of everything we do and describe how we work and the promises that we make to our customers and each other. We only succeed if we are enabling our customers to be successful - we aim to be a standard setter, shaping the future. We aim to work as one global team, easy to do business with and providing a consistently high level of service.
As Technical Superintendent you will report directly to the Fleet Manager and be responsible for the daily technical operation of 3-5 of our chemical tankers.
You will be part of a dedicated team of 30 highly skilled colleagues who insure professional and safe management to achieve the best result for our clients. You will be based at our office in Hellerup but the vessels trade all over the world.
Your key tasks and responsibilities as a Technical Superintendent:
The optimal candidate is from the maritime industry with an updated and solid technical background and at least 2-3 years’ experience. You either are a Marine Engineer, Naval Architect or have sailed as Senior Officer onboard tanker vessels. You speak and write English fluently – it would be an advantage if you speak one of the Scandinavian languages.
You work organized and disciplined - and know how to get the job done. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a fast chancing atmosphere while still being able to have fun.
You are a good communicator with strong collaborative skills and like to work in a global cross-cultural organization.
You are ready to travel 50-60 days annually.
We can offer you a salary based on your qualifications including pension, health insurance and a benefit package, in addition to significant opportunities for career growth and personal development. This is a great opportunity to join a true leader in the maritime sector - a company that has exciting plans for future growth. You will get colleagues who are passionate about what they do and always operate from a collaborative and consistent perspective to ensure the best solution.
The culture is characterized by an informal and open-minded atmosphere – we challenge procedures when needed because we believe in working smarter not harder.
