Process Engineering Manager - Ijmuiden, Isle of Wight or Nakskov

Use your management skills to ensure a stable manufacturing process

Are you an experienced people manager able to motivate and coach a team of highly competent Process Specialists and Engineers? Do you have the skills and know-how to improve and optimise our manufacturing process?

We are looking for a new Process Engineering Manager to join or site in Ijmuiden, NL, on Isle of Wight, UK, or in Nakskov, DK.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will

lead and manage the Process Engineering Team across different blade manufacturing sites and continuously improve and optimise the tooling to deliver a stable manufacturing process. You will be responsible for developing new processes and improving the production efficiency (cost and tact time) in project execution.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Approval and review team of P-FMEA (together with HSE and Quality Specialists)
  • Deliver input in D-FMEA and TR reviews (Vestas/PD )
  • Active member of CMT Blades
  • Standardization of current processes across sites
  • Development and delivery of business case for new/improved processes
  • Maintain high safety standards and work with the HSE Department to report incidents and manage risk out of the process
  • Identify and manage training needs in the Process Engineering Team and arrange training
  • Manage the annual cycle of People Review, Motivation & Performance Dialogues and salary review

Skills & experience: Our new colleague

holds an engineering degree, preferably at master’s level, and has experience with people management in a manufacturing environment. You have strong communication and English skills and are comfortable communicating with people from all levels in the organisation. We are looking for a candidate with the personality and drive to continuously motivate and coach a team towards the agreed KPIs.

  • Have a structured approach towards complex tasks
  • Are result-oriented
  • Are a team player who understands how to work in line and matrix organisations

  • Understand safety and quality processes and reporting
  • Understand Six-Sigma and LEAN principles/activities
  • Can use Microsoft Office, especially Excel
