Play a significant part in developing game-changing wind solutions

As a Blade Specialist, your main responsibility will be the technical reliability during the entire value chain of the blades with focus on materials. You will cooperate closely with suppliers and participate in technical meeting with our customers. You will work on engineering activities regarding the blades to ensure optimised performance, quality, logistics and total cost on all platforms and turbine releases.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Development of Leading Edge Protection Solutions
  • Ensure technical evaluation and approval of components and materials working closely with suppliers in realising solutions
  • Maintain specifications and FMEA with inputs from operational experience in the value chain
  • Conduct efficient and effective Improvement Cases applying the DMAIC methodology
  • Implement technical changes by use of the ECM process and follow up on feedback from the implementation
  • Participate in technology development, and incorporate operational feedback from the value chain

Skills & experience: Our new colleague

... has in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with blade designs, preferably from the wind turbine industry. You have high energy and drive to achieve good results whilst keeping excellent work ethic. As a person, you are an analytic and innovative problem solver who can foresee global technology development within blade engineering.

We expect that you:

  • Hold a relevant engineering degree
  • Have relevant experience within wind turbine blade design and composite materials and processes
  • Possess good English and communication skills
  • Are enthusiastic and independent
