The Lean Six Sigma Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area in support of a business unit, across a country or region. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction ranging from $1-$4M per project
• Deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, re-engineer business processes to reduce cost and increase productivity and attain world-class levels of quality, through the development and implementation of training program(s) on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools / tactics

The Kuwaiti Danish Dairy Company (KDD) is one of the leading producers of quality food products in the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries. For one of the company’s factories in Kuwait, a position as Production Manager is available. While reporting to the General Production Manager, the Production Manager is part of the team of managers for KDD’s production section for dairy products, natural fruit juices and fruit drinks.

While focusing on maintaining established quality standards, the Production Manager is responsible for keeping the overall production planning of the section, including among other things:

• UHT processing, filling, packing & stacking
• Cost optimization and co-ordination with respect to maintenance and continued improvement of efficiency
• Input to the General Production Manager for budgeting purposes

Trade Point A/S imports and exports indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories for the home worldwide. Mainly we purchase our products in China, Vietnam and India and distribute the products to large national and international furniture retail chains.

The team consists of 20 Danish and Chinese employees who are very dedicated and motivated. The team is responsible for quality control, follow-up on deliveries, supplier partnerships and a number of administrative tasks for the Danish office.

Med reference til direktionen i Danmark og i tæt samarbejde med en faglig kompetent ledergruppe, får du det overordnede ansvar for den polske produktion, med tilhørende funktioner som indkøb, planlægning, driftsteknik, vedligehold og kvalitet. Produktionen beskæftiger i dag ca. 200 engagerede medarbejdere, der imidlertid har brug for en løbende prægning og holdningsbearbejdning, hvor nøgleordene er effektivitet, kvalitet, økonomi og ikke mindst overholdelse af stramme leveringsterminer. Du skal således både sikre den tekniske og organisatoriske videreudvikling i virksomheden samtidig med, at du har meget fokus på den daglige produktionsafvikling.

Ledelsesmæssigt er nogle af nøgleordene derfor opfølgning og optimering i ”øjenhøjde” med dine medarbejdere, ligesom forandringsledelse i forhold til prægning af værdier og kultur er væsentlige indsatsområder.
